The Q Foundation is one of three service providers contracted with the Workforce Development Board to provide services to Out-of-School youth within the Charlotte Mecklenburg Area. The Q Foundation has proven to be a dedicated champion in striving to make positive changes in the lives of youth. Their primary focus with the Workforce Development Board will be to provide the required 10 elements of the Workforce Investment Act to youth ages 14-21 that are no longer enrolled in school. (Refer to WIA link for additional information) They are committed to providing high quality education and work-readiness skills and training. The goal is to see youth develop into well-rounded individuals that will be productive within their families and the community. They will provide a positive environment that leads to increasing self-esteem.
